UNS R30605, also known as Alloy 25 ®, Alloy L605 ®, Alloy L-605 ®, Udimet L-605 ®, HS 25 ®, has excellent resistance to oxidation, sulfidation, wear and galling.
It offer high temperature strength and corrosion resistance performance up to 1093°C.
It finds application mostly in:
land based gas turbines, jet engines, for rings, blades, combustion chamber hardware, special bearings,
general industry for industrial furnaces hardware like muffles or liners.
Main chemistry:
Ni 9-11% ; W 14-16% ; Fe ≤ 3% ; Cr 19-21% ; Mn 1-2% ; Co balance
